ROBERTO SCUTTARI

The story of ROBERTO SCUTTARI - Sales | Dolce Idea S.R.L.

My name is Roberto Scuttari and I'm a sales specialist in raw materials for pasta makers, bakeries and the catering trade. I work at Dolce Idea S.R.L, where I put together tailored solutions for professionals in the sector.

When I joined Private Community, I was going through a phase where I strongly felt the need to change. I wanted to do more, to do better. Like so many people, I was looking for courses, tools, shortcuts. I thought I needed to learn something new, when actually I simply needed to start looking within.

Private gave me exactly that: a place to stop and ask myself questions I'd always avoided. Who am I? What do I really want? How do I want to work? With whom? It was like muting all the outside noise and finally hearing my own voice.

The Mindset path was, at the start, an extremely powerful impact. Devastating, but in a good way. It isn't a course: it's a gut punch. It took me apart and then rebuilt me. I thought I knew myself, knew who I was, what I did, how I presented myself... but I was telling myself a reassuring fairy tale. And there, thanks to the guidance and honest dialogue with others, I faced up to a truth I'd long been trying to avoid.

I understood that I wasn't really at peace with my work. Yes, I was getting results, but they were disconnected from me. I took on clients and projects out of fear of saying no. I was always inside the performance, but outside my own authenticity. The real change came when I decided to slow down and ask myself the right questions. The most uncomfortable ones.

But I couldn't have done it alone. Talking with others was essential. The Community sessions acted as a mirror for me. Other people's words, the feedback, the postcards... helped me see where I was running away. And they didn't judge me for it: they did it with respect and firmness.

I particularly remember one Focus session: that's where I realised how much I was looking for approval outside myself, instead of within. That awareness marked a turning point. From that moment on, I started choosing, selecting, saying no.

CombineĀ® also played a key role. Every time I use it, it's like coming home. I re-read my forms, answer the questions, listen to myself. It's a living tool that grows with me. Working on RAMPS (Relationships with the Most Development Potential), I finally focused on what I was really looking for: genuine relationships, clients I could share a vision with, not just sell to.

And today, if someone asks me what I do, I don't answer with a ready-made line. I tell them who I am, what drives me, and what I can bring to the other person. It's a different way of building a relationship.

The most powerful thing is that I didn't change something "outside". Everything changed inside first. And from there, over time, the outside world too began to respond differently: new clients, new connections, new energy.

It wasn't a "firework". It was a slow, deep, real change. And, above all, a lasting one.
