The story of Alessandro Saccon - Insurance consultant | Agenzia Unipol & UniSalute

When I joined Private Community, I had no idea how much it would shape my life. I'd been working as an insurance consultant for more than twenty years, I had an established career, growing results, important clients. And yet, I felt out of alignment. I was billing more and more, but I wasn't at peace any more. There was a subtle anxiety that stayed with me every day. I only understood later where it came from: I was working with people who were no longer in line with my values.

They were clients who took up my head, my time, my energy. But I couldn't let them go. I was afraid of losing revenue, of disappointing expectations, perhaps even of admitting that it was time to change. And so I carried on, until something inside me demanded a stop.

The first decisive moment was the Mindset Booster journey. It shook me deeply, like a punch in the stomach. But it was what I needed. It made me look in the mirror and see who I am, what I want, where I want to go. Then came the Skillset Booster, with practical, concrete tools. I understood who my ideal client really was. How to represent myself in the right way. How to communicate to attract what resembles me.

One of the episodes I remember most vividly is a Focus Session with a simple title: Focus on focus. That day, thanks partly to talking it through with two entrepreneurs from my community, I made a decision that had seemed impossible to me: letting go of some clients who were important financially but toxic on a personal level. It wasn't easy. But it set me free.

The Community was decisive. Not just because I found inspiration. But because I received what I fondly call ‘wake-up slaps’. A postcard — one of the typical forms of feedback in the community — struck me so hard that the very next day I started making different choices. Because there, no one goes easy on you. No one applauds just to please you. But everyone tells you the truth, with respect and with one intention: to help you improve.

In Private Community I found a form of collective intelligence, in which ideas are transformed. A concrete example? With a lawyer from my group, we took an idea that emerged in a session, developed it together using Combine®, and a joint professional project was born from it. An idea that, on my own, I would never have pursued.

This makes a difference too: in the Community, insights don't just hang in the air. They take shape. They become plans, events, opportunities. And all this happens in an environment where you can truly be yourself. No roles, no masks. In a company it's hard to tell the truth to each other. In the Community it becomes natural. And when you feel safe, you're able to make the kind of leaps you would never have made on your own.

Looking back, it almost makes me smile to think how unthinkable it once was to experience work with a light heart. Today, instead, I've found another way of working. I've given up some certainties, but I've gained far more: clarity, focus, wellbeing. And, finally, the pleasure of waking up in the morning with a smile.

What drives me today is sharing this experience. Making it known. Because this isn't training like any other. It's not a course. It's a journey within yourself, one that also changes everything on the outside.

"In Private, it's not just about growing.

It's about choosing who you want to be."
