A frank premise…
All companies are made up of people, and so... most companies go through the same issues at different stages of their evolution.
The issues most commonly felt by people in a company, at every level, tend to be: communication problems, especially between different company functions, along with the associated friction and disagreements; low engagement/sense of belonging and poor motivation; and a low propensity for “real collaboration”.
In short, phrases like “The right hand doesn’t know what the left is doing”, “Everyone just tends their own patch”, “They make us do pointless things...” are very common, and what’s telling is that they’re the same at both management and operational level.
At this point in history, there are as many as four different generations coexisting in the workplace (Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, Generation Z), and for this reason it isn’t easy to create a working environment where everyone feels comfortable and can work together. Understanding what people of different ages think and want is essential for the company to move forward and achieve its goals.
Companies, therefore, have always worked to prevent and address problems related to all this.
There are usually 3 compatible approaches used to build the right culture, apply best practices and create a calm working environment:
- Consultancy: of various kinds and origins is used to define processes, timings and methods… in order to operate more efficiently and effectively. Of course, all this works, but it isn’t always experienced positively by the people working within the company, who find themselves having a way of doing things imposed on them that doesn’t always suit them, and experience teaches us that people often look for shortcuts and say things like “That’s what it says, but our way is faster, our way is better…”
- Training: on every kind of topic and aspect is always important, because it inspires and enables growth by acquiring new tools. Of course, it has a positive impact on the company, but unfortunately the proportion of content that moves from theory into practice is always very low; so, with patience, many hours of people’s time need to be invested to see results. A variant of training is Team Building… always a valuable experience, but then the boat trip, the mountain adventure or the cooking session comes to an end and everyone returns to everyday reality, often with the same dynamics as before!
- Coaching: very fashionable over the last decade, has a great impact because it aims to empower the individual (or small team), guiding them to find their own answers and, as a result, to develop their way of thinking and reflect on their relationships with others and the impact of their own actions. However, without a coach, none of this can be achieved successfully, which is why coaching skills are increasingly required of managers and feature widely on CVs. Beyond this, empowering the individual is always wonderful, but when that individual leaves the organisation, everything has to start again from scratch!

How and why?
Within this context, Private Community’s Corporate Programme “The Fourth Way” offers a complementary, innovative approach.
Starting from the organisation’s Vision and Mission
We create a Community of function heads around the entrepreneur (or the CEO)
In which each person builds a role Mission
And systematically shares their challenges and results with others
Receiving feedback, suggestions and help from others
And giving back in the same way
To make the best contribution to the growth of the Common Good.
…today there’s plenty of training for entrepreneurs, plenty of communities for entrepreneurs… but there’s no community of the entrepreneur within the company!
…this is Private Community’s Fourth Way!
Testimonials

Dario Novello - Ardito le Porte
I turned to Private Community for a problem in our business. It’s easy for me to draw a comparison with a physiotherapist who treated me in my youth for a knee problem: after two months focused on my back and posture, only then did we start working on the knee. We did something similar, working on ourselves as people and as entrepreneurs, and only afterwards did we get to the heart of the problem — but we did so with a completely different level of awareness and, as a result, with excellent outcomes. Once the problem was solved, we continued the journey, moving into every department of our business, and I consider the investment to have been one of the best decisions of my entrepreneurial journey.

David Marzinotto - Degano
I have to say that the experience with Marco Grandinetti, Private Community consultant, was truly surprising. His ability to lead a Degano working team is remarkable. He managed to bring together a group of extremely positive and motivating people. In those difficult moments, when everything seemed to be going wrong, the team always managed to lift spirits and start again with renewed enthusiasm. Marco showed not only high-level professional skills, but also an extraordinary ability to manage interpersonal relationships and maintain a positive, productive atmosphere. It was truly a pleasure working with him, and I can’t wait to collaborate again in future.
