MASSIMILIANO PALERMINO

The story of MASSIMILIANO PALERMINO - Entrepreneur | MC Energy S.r.l

My name is Massimiliano Palermino and I am the co-founder of MC Energy. I created this company together with my partner, who is like a brother to me. We have been working together for fifteen years, but our bond began even before we had anything to build: I was unemployed, already had a daughter, and he was much younger, Romanian. But there was something about him that immediately struck me. I told him, "Let's take the plunge. Let's try." And that's how our business was born.

The company works today, every year we achieve the goals we set for ourselves. But inside, I felt there was room for more, in terms of personal growth and alignment. When we were invited to participate in a Community session, I was skeptical. I thought it was another one of those entrepreneurial realities, which I respect, but that have a different approach. Then I realized that Private is completely different: here you work on the person first, then the entrepreneur.

For us, it was immediately clear that this would be a moment of truth. It could have turned out that my partner and I, despite the years, were no longer compatible. Or, as it happened, we could rediscover a new balance. Today, those four hours a month we take on Wednesday in Community are sacred. It's our time, it's breathing space, it's something I protect because it does me good.

And it's not just that: the weekly Labs are an additional practical tool that helps you unlock obstacles, untangle knots, review decisions - in real time.

A continuous operational push that accompanies you between one monthly meeting and the next.

One of the tools that truly changed the way I live my role is CombineĀ®. I use it in the company, of course, but I also brought it into my family. It helped me relate better to my daughter, with a more peaceful, more open approach. It allowed me to see problems from another perspective. Even in professional relationships, it had a huge impact: today I approach every appointment starting from the vision and mission. And I assure you, it changes everything, right from the first meeting.

The exchange in the Community has a value that's hard to explain if you haven't experienced it. Friends encourage you, say "well done" or "come on, it's nothing." Here it's different. If you say you've lost a client, someone tells you: "You made a mistake here." It's direct, concrete, but always constructive. A real piece of advice, based on the experience of those who are fighting every day like you.

It was the same for an important project in Roddino, with a heating engineer who kept changing his mind. Three hours of travel each time, each time a new design. I talked about it in Community. A colleague told me: "You're making a mistake. You need to make him understand that you are MC Energy and that this is the right proposal." I followed that advice. The project was immediately unblocked. If I hadn't had that exchange, I would have wasted more time. That's when you realize how much a word from someone who sees you from the outside, but with clarity, can really be worth.

The Community also taught me that the bar can always be raised. Initially, you enter with a goal, but then you see that you can go beyond. You dream big, but with less fear. Because around you are people who have already made certain choices, who have already taken certain risks. And this gives you strength.

The Mindset journey was one of the most touching moments. Reviewing moments from the past, recognizing emotions, baring yourself in front of people you don't fully know... it's not easy. But it's profound. Because that's where it all starts: from who you are, from what moves you, from where you want to go.

Telling my experience today made me relive every meeting, every step. Every meeting was growth. And if I could give advice to those reading: try it at least once. Give yourself four hours to participate in a Community meeting. At worst, you'll have had a different experience. But if even just one sentence ignites something in you... it could really be a turning point.
