When people ask me what I do, I often reply: "interpreter." I say this because I present myself with "DJ headphones," as I work translating in real-time. But the truth is, my activity is broader. I have a language services agency, and I deal with translation, interpreting, and assisting foreign clients, especially investors who come to Italy and find themselves managing a new reality: complex, full of details, and often disorienting. My job is to help them understand, communicate, and navigate confidently, eliminating language and cultural barriers.
I joined Private Community about a year ago. My first visit was in November 2024, and I went with the intention of joining. I liked the idea of a professional development path supported by peers, people with whom you can truly engage. I was fascinated by the idea that growth could arise not only from study or individual training but also from the exchange and experience of others.
However, that first visit was also a small shock.
I remember the focus session was on the "first appointment," and I suddenly felt out of context. In my work, in fact, the first appointment almost doesn't exist. People contact me with a very clear need: they need to translate a document, require an interpreter, request a quote, and then compare me with others based on what I propose and the cost. It's a direct, immediate, often very technical dynamic. I try to be found rather than actively seeking, although my online presence helps a lot, and over time I've built a solid network.
Yet, there was a case where a "first meeting" truly existed: related to my work with foreign investors buying property in Italy. In some situations, before signing with the notary, I meet them during property visits or in preparatory phases. There, a more human, deeper contact is born, and often the relationship doesn't end with the translation of the deed.
So, to work in the focus session, I decided to concentrate precisely on that situation.
And that's where something happened that I will never forget.
Combine® opened a perspective for me that I had never seen so clearly. It was like a sudden light bulb, like a volcano exploding within a routine you thought was already defined. It suggested not only to value that type of meeting but to create a specific, structured service dedicated to foreigners. It even suggested the name: it had to contain the word "concierge."
At first, it seemed almost absurd. I was already offering that type of support, of course, but in a spontaneous, natural way. Over the years, I realized that many investors didn't just need someone to translate: they needed a point of reference. They were disoriented in the territory, didn't speak Italian well, didn't know the procedures. So, I started accompanying them in other contexts: medical, legal, healthcare practices, rental contracts, utilities, documents to understand. And that part of my work, I admit, I enjoy immensely.
Inside, there were all my skills: language, interpreting, translation, but also cultural knowledge. I speak English, German, and French, and I am well aware of the cultural differences of these worlds, the ways of communicating, the expectations, the sensitivities. It's a detail that often goes unnoticed, but it makes a huge difference. And clients perceive it immediately.
I went home that evening, deeply impressed.
I never imagined I could formalize that part of my activity. Yet, during the Christmas holidays, I let the idea settle. By January, when I registered, I was ready to develop it.
I started with very precise research, especially from an international perspective. I wanted to understand if the word "concierge" was recognizable, if the concept already existed, if it could work as a positioning. I discovered it was exactly so: today "concierge" is a clear idea for those seeking personalized assistance, a figure that solves problems and guides. I chose to keep that word and built a name designed for abroad, powerful as a search key: Relocation Concierge.
I know it may sound peculiar to an Italian. But for the international target, it's immediate: relocation means moving, relocating to another country, and in that world, the word is very strong. The two words together made clear sense and, above all, perfectly reflected what I was already doing, but without a name and without structure.
Then the real journey began.
I didn't build it alone. And this is something that makes all the difference for me.
The community accompanied me every step of the way. I asked for opinions on the name, the graphic identity, the way of communicating, my online presence. I asked people to look at my website and social media with a critical eye. Sometimes they gave me confirmations, other times specific advice, even very technical. Small comments that seemed almost insignificant to them were an acceleration for me. An idea. A direction. A detail that changed everything.
At a certain point, thanks to the journey, an even more important decision came: to create a company.
Until then, I was a professional. But I wanted to separate the activity from myself, make it an autonomous, recognizable entity, potentially sellable in the future. I wanted it to be something that could live beyond me and present itself in the market with its own identity.
So, while continuing to develop Relocation Concierge, I also created my company: Studio Bonelli, which encompasses this new project.
I registered the trademark about a month ago, and ten days ago, I established the company. A journey that, if I think about it, in less than a year has led me to make progress that would have taken me years to build alone.
Today, my work is still mainly related to translations and interpreting. Relocation Concierge is a side project, a smaller part in terms of volume, but huge in terms of vision and perspective. It excites me because it amplifies what I already do and creates a new possibility: a service that brings value, builds loyalty, and generates continuity over time.
And beyond the results, there's something that struck me even more deeply: the human dimension.
In Private Community, I've seen people open up about personal, even delicate aspects, in a protected environment, without judgment. I've felt the value of support even when nothing is said, even in silence. You feel in a safe place. You feel understood. You feel accompanied.
And this, for those who work alone or in small contexts, is rare.
The reason I would recommend Private is simple: in a professional or entrepreneurial journey, it's incredibly difficult to have peers with whom you can truly engage. The "peer" exchange is not a given, quite the opposite. And often our category, especially among professionals, is closed, academic, not inclined to evolution. I myself have never felt fully understood in that context.
Here, instead, the exchange is not only professional. It's 360 degrees. It's strategy, vision, choices. It's life and work together. And that's what makes the journey so concrete.
Sometimes I think this is the heart: you are not asked to change who you are. You are asked to grow, with method, with continuity... and above all, with people by your side.
