The story of LUCIANA GRANDE - Entrepreneur | Utopia S.A.S - Communication Agency
When I started this journey with Private Community, I didn't know exactly what to expect. I was looking for something that would stimulate me, that would help me grow further. I had already been an entrepreneur for many years, but I am naturally curious. I define myself as a "disciple of life," and for me, learning is a never-ending journey.
Over time, I understood one fundamental thing: it's not worth trying to be something you're not. Everyone faces difficulties differently. I, for example, don't confront them head-on. I circumvent them, find alternative paths. For a long time, I thought it was a limitation. Today I know it's simply my way. And that's okay.
The Community helped me recognize this aspect and make it my own. Of course, personal growth is a complex journey full of different stimuli, but Private has undoubtedly been one of the most fertile and transformative paths.
In the last two years, also thanks to continuous interaction with the Community, I have experienced one of the most delicate and powerful transitions of my professional life: the generational transition with my daughter Irene. It wasn't a sudden change, but a gradual, clear, and shared evolution.
We listened to each other deeply. She is impulsive, visionary, fast. I am reflective, pragmatic, organized. Two seemingly distant worlds that we have learned to make communicate. The tools of Private Community, such as working on behavioral styles, have helped us understand each other better on a personal level as well. Today Irene is my partner, but above all, a woman I deeply admire.
Together, we revisited Vision, Mission, and company values, imagining the future of Utopia not just as a digital agency, but as a reference point for personal brand building and figure analysis. It's a concrete evolution, already bearing fruit.
An episode that particularly struck me concerns the choice of the new corporate form. I was undecided about opening an S.R.L. I consulted with other entrepreneurs in the Community, listened to similar stories, direct experiences, practical advice. That exchange was more valuable than any formal consultation. So I chose, with awareness and sharing: we became an S.A.S.
Within the company, I have always believed in collaboration, not hierarchy. We are seven, all women. Everyone knows they can speak freely, and we work in synergy. We have built a process map with roles, primary and secondary skills, and backup plans ready to use. It's not common, but for us, it's essential. It's our way of working well and living better.
I believe in leadership that doesn't impose but listens. For me, the company is a raft with many oars: everyone rows in their own way, but all in the same direction.
The work on mindset has also transformed the relationship with my daughter: from combative, we have become a team. Each with her own pace, each with her own role. She is a go-getter, I am a nurturer. And today we know how much we need each other.
And, in the end, it's no coincidence that Irene chose a husband who... resembles me a lot! A sign that certain balances really work.
And then there was that moment, during one of the Mindset Booster exercises, when I realized how much my relationship with my father had influenced my life. He wanted a boy. I, to feel "enough," learned to weld, disassemble, and reassemble computers. I became a nerd. And only then did I understand why. That awareness gave new meaning to my entire journey.
Today, after over thirty years of experience, I might think I've seen it all. But it's not so. I still want to learn. And Private gives me the push to do it every day, with a clear purpose: to contribute to the well-being of others, even before my own. This is what guides me.
The economic benefit? It arrived. But as a natural consequence. When you do the right things, in the right way, the results come. It's not a promise. It's a fact.
If Irene continues to evolve, I've done my part. And I will continue to do it as long as I enjoy it. I still want to disassemble some PCs... but above all, to see this company grow, which today is truly ours, with its style, its strength, its beauty.
For me, Private was not just a journey. It was a journey within myself. And, above all, a shared journey. And I know it will continue to be.
